Bethany Presbyterian Church and Bethany Christian School sponsor the Jr. and Sr. High Youth Groups. Young people from Bethany Church, Bethany Christian School and the Oxford Community are encouraged to attend and bring family, friends, and neighbors who are of middle and high school age.

Bethany’s Youth Ministry exists to extend the transforming grace of God to young people; to teach them what it means to live by faith, to love God and love others. The purpose of the Youth Groups is to provide a safe place to be open and transparent about their lives, to fellowship with one another, to grow in faith and eat good food!!

Our Youth Groups meeting during the school year (October through April) on Wednesday nights from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. in the BCS Family Life Center. During the summer we have several big events to keep the kids connected, you can check our Events Calendar for dates of these special events.

The groups are led by BPC parents and volunteers and by BPC staff. If you have questions about this ministry, please contact Lincoln Larsen at asstpastor@bethanypca.org

F.R.O.G. is a children's ministry for Pre-K through 5th graders. It exists to nurture faith in children by proclaiming the infinite glory and power of Christ. F.R.O.G. meets during the regular school year on Wednesday nights from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. There are games and crafts designed around the weekly lesson but more importantly a solid Bible curriculum with Scripture memory. We believe that the heart of a child is a fertile field to plant the seeds of the gospel. And as we continue to water those seeds, God will give the increase.

Please consider signing your child up for F.R.O.G. There is no cost and it is open to all, whether you belong to a church or do not attend church at all. We cherish the opportunity to minister the truth of God's Word to your children.

Tadpoles

The preschool kids are "pre-tads" and their lessons are built around learning catechisms. Tadpoles is for children Pre-K - 2 grade. They receive the lessons in language and concepts that are age appropriate. They also have Scripture memory and crafts that reinforce the lesson. As they memorize Scripture, they receive acknowledgements of their work throughout the year.

Frogs

Third - Fifth graders are Frogs. Once they graduate from Tadpoles, kids enter into a new level of engagement in the lesson material. Each age group continues to do reinforcement crafts and games, scripture memory and develop a knowledge of the Bible.
