The nursery at Bethany exists to share the love of Christ with our covenant children and provide childcare for our young families. We welcome children from birth to three years of age. We know that parents need time to worship the Lord without the worry of caring for little ones. Therefore, we welcome young families to come and worship knowing that their children are being cared for in a safe and loving environment. We integrate fun and learning with the truth of the Bible in our interaction with the children. We seek to instill in them a reverence for Christ and His church. Our facilities are child-safe and all of our staff are background checked to insure the safety of the children in our care. There is a separate room for infants and mothers who are nursing that has a livestream of the worship service on a flat screen TV. We also provide paging devices for parents whose children are in the nursery. We welcome you to visit Bethany and encourage you to make use of the nursery facilities while you worship with us.

While our children participate in the early segment of the main worship service, children ages 4 through grade 2 and grades 3-5 are dismissed for Junior Church. We are committed to teaching our covenant children the boundless glory and goodness of God as expressed in the Covenant of Grace. It is vitally important for them to know the infinite value of Christ and His love in a world that provides an endless supply of excesses designed to steal their affections.

Our current Junior Church curriculum for the younger age group is “Faithful to All His Promises” from Children Desiring God, a branch of Desiring God Ministries. God's promises are gifts to the believer. The challenge of the Christian life is not to simply know the promises of God, but to place unshakable confidence in them. This study teaches children that God's character is trustworthy; therefore, His promises are true and reliable.

For our older age group, we are using a curriculum called “Teach Me to Worship” in which the children are equipped with knowledge they can implement and use during a worship service to truly and whole-heartedly worship the King of Kings.
